I am a tutor in Perry Hall, Maryland. I have a bachelor's degree in Science, with a Biology concentration, from Benedictine University, and an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University. My master's degree thesis concerned breast cancer and a possible tumor-suppressing gene.I have been working as a private tutor and an intern at Abbott Labs since graduation from college. I enjoy teaching science subjects, particularly chemistry and biology; however, I have also worked with students as young as three years old in reading and math. I tutor students in biology, microbiology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, inorganic chemistry, algebra, and geometry.Students all have the potential to do well when studying the sciences. My objective as a tutor is to make sure that not only do my students do well in their science studies, but that they are able to enjoy learning about and coming to understand the subject.In my free time, I like to read, learn languages, listen to music, and travel. I also enjoy sports, including soccer, F1 racing, and football.
